COSMOS

„Astronomers have enormous ears, to listen to the heavens and record their cry.”

Jean-Pierre Luminet’s description could just as easily refer to musicians – they, too, train their ears – and eyes – on the universe, poring over star charts, picking up interstellar signals, and listening in to the turnings of the heavenly machinery. They transcribe it all into orbital harmonies, miniature pianistic universes, or celestially inspired paintings of light.
